After enduring years of physical and emotional abuse at the hands of their cruel father, Link and his brother make a bold decision to escape. Their journey is both perilous and transformative, as they navigate through unfamiliar territory while seeking safety and solace. Along this path, Link begins to explore and understand his own sexuality, facing internal conflicts and external challenges that test his resolve. Simultaneously, he also reconnects with his roots, rediscovering the rich cultural heritage of his Mi'kmaw ancestry.
